Mysuru Police Seek Help to Trace Missing Hearing‑Impaired Boys

Mysuru, Karnataka — Authorities are appealing to the public for assistance in locating two boys from the Government School for the Deaf and Mute in Tilak Nagar, Mysuru, who have been missing since early January.

Incident Details

Hostel warden Mandanna A.M. reported to Mandi Police Station on January 10, 2025 that two resident students — Ramu and Raheem — disappeared at around 6:45 a.m. on January 2, 2025. The boys were last seen near the hostel’s outdoor toilet and clothes‑washing area.

Vulnerable Situation

Both children are orphans with no known permanent address. Despite an extensive search by school staff in public places and nearby areas, the boys remain untraceable.

Investigation Update

Based on the complaint, police have registered Case No. 06/2025 under Section 137(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). An active investigation is underway.
